After the party.

My birthday party turned out great. Mandy, Scott, James, Rob, Hannah, Kelsey, Danny, Rachel, Shannon, Sarah, and Collin all came to celebrate, swim, and eat Pizza Rolls. It was awesome! We kicked of the night with swimming, hot tubbing, and steaming in the sauna. Almost everyone swam with us, except Mandy and Scott of course. It was great!

After swimming for upwards of three hours, me and the rest of my party walked back to our cabin through the woods, in the cold, at night (with WET HAIR!) We played some Guitar Hero, ate Pizza Rolls and chips, and then had cake while I opened presents. I got a tennis bag and other accesories, lots of cards, gift cards, and money (haha!), a Coheed & Cambria CD (which I already had, but it’s okay since I have the receipt and I’m going to the mall this weekend), and a few other things. It was the best birthday I have ever had because I got to spend it with James and the rest of my friends and family.

After all of the guys went home, Kelsey, Hannah, and Sarah stayed with me all night in the cabin. We watched Cabin Fever (dumb) and Disturbia, and played some Rock Band. I am really starting to get the hang of those drums. They went home the next day at noon.

Song of the day: The Running Free, by Coheed and Cambria. I listen to this song alost every time I get on the internet, it’s great and it’s also on the new CD that I was supposed to get for my birthday (Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV; Volume II; No World for Tomorrow). As you have probably noticed by now, I am sort of obsessed with Coheed and Cambria!

As I am sure I have said before, my big 16th birthday is this Sunday. The corresponding party will be on Saturday, March 1st at 6pm. Since I am a going to be a little bit older, maybe a little bit wiser, the guys get to stay until 11pm this time instead of 9pm or 10pm. Yay! My mom has rented my girl friends and I a cabin for the night and I am stocking it with movies, food, games, and all sorts of fun stuff. I have invited almost 20 people, but I only expect 15 at the most (which is good because I only made 15 treat bags. Dorky? Yes, but everyone loves them anyway.) The indoor pool and game room will be open until 11pm and we will probably swim until they kick us out! I expect it to be a fun weekend no matter how cold and rainy it may be.

Song of the day: Purple Rain, by Prince. It’s supposed to rain today and tomorrow so I thought this song would be appropriate. Plus I heard it on the way to school this morning.
