It is my favorite holiday. Not even Christmas or my birthday can top it [even though my birthday isn't exactly a holiday!] My costume is all planned out, as is the big party. And the best part? This year I not only get to dress up for my Halloween party, I also get to dress up for the Beta convention “Halloween dance”. The dance in itself may not be so great, but the dressing up part will be! This year I am going as Mary Katherine Gallagher. For those of you who have no idea who I am talking about, Mary Katherine is Molly Shannon’s most popular Saturday Night Live character and the star of the comedy movie Superstar, in which she is a Catholic school girl who dreams of becoming a “superstar” and getting her first Hollywood style kiss from the most popular guy in school, Sky Corrigan, who is played by Will Ferrel. Basically, Halloween will be great this year.
